FRONT & REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS

The front & rear shock absorbers are key components of a vehicle's suspension system, designed to control the movement of the suspension, manage road-induced forces, and enhance overall ride comfort and safety. They are positioned between the vehicle's body and the wheel assemblies, typically integrated into strut or damper modules.

Main and critical functions:

  • Ride and handling control: Maintain tire contact with the road surface, improving steering stability, braking efficiency, and overall vehicle dynamics.

  • Load support: In combination with springs, they help manage dynamic loads and contribute to vehicle ride height and balance.

  • Noise and vibration reduction: Reduce the transmission of road and suspension noise into the passenger compartment.

Shock absorbers typically  are made of high-strength manufactured through cold forming, precision machining, and robotic welding, with final assembly often including bushing and surface coating processes for corrosion resistance.

This component
is manufactured and assembled
using technologies such as:

  • Cold Stamping

  • Machining

  • Arc (MAG) welding

  • Projection welding

  • Post piercing

  • E-coat

SUSPENSION ELEMENTS

Suspension Elements are critical structural and mounting components integrated into the vehicle’s body-in-white (BIW) and chassis systems, designed to support and transfer loads from the suspension to the main vehicle structure while maintaining geometry, ride comfort, and dynamic performance.

Suspension elements typically include the following components:
Front and rear damper (shock absorber) towers, Lower and upper control arm brackets, Subframe connection points, Reinforcements for spring and damper mounting areas, Anti-roll bar mounts

These components are manufactured and assembled using technologies such as:
Cold forming, Casting or forging (for high-load components), Machining (for precise mounting interfaces), Arc welding, Spot welding, MIG/MAG welding, Riveting and bolting, E-Coat (for corrosion protection)

Suspension elements play the main role in ensuring vehicle stability, safety, and comfort by transmitting dynamic loads (acceleration, braking, cornering, and road impacts).
